Looking at the date of the earliest posts this forum has almost been up a year. This means that soon everything will expire and I'll have to pay for the domain name and hosting again. (Admittedly I haven't paid for hosting yet but in theory I have to) At the same time I've struggled to build much of an interest for this site and while there has been a fairly steady flow of people in there has been next to no activity. While I'd like to keep this site up, there really isn't a point if no one is using it. So now you can vote whether I should keep the forum up or not. The poll closes in 14 days, both because that's about when everything expires and to give people time to vote, even those that seldom visit.

Forums are not built in a day, and they take time to nurture and grow, the zafur forums had a nice peak of activity and now only sees about 10 to 20 members visiting it regularly, the rest seem to have gone poof.

the hosting it already paid for, so don't worry about that

if you want to ask some of your members to donate towards the hosting fees, then feel free to help, but otherwise it's paid for already, i'm not going to shut down the site, as long as you carry on paying the R50 domain fee then the site will always be here, is not gonna go away Wink

It's been a year though... But R50 isn't much so if you're fine with giving me the hosting then I suppose I could keep the site up. In that case I'll just wait for the domain people to send a bill. I'll leave this open though, more to see how many people come on than anything else.
