I've tried to get people interested in this site but it's not working particularly well. So does anyone have suggestions why and how to encourage more people to join and participate?

That the chastity one you told me about? Those people will probably also be interested in this forum then. Perhaps you could tell the people there that are still active to move here? Sort of combine the sites, or at least the active members.

One of the big issues is trying to get people to learn about and join this site so here's a suggestion which I'm already implementing for myself. I'm not forcing anyone else to but it would be nice if we included a link to this forum on your signatures and when you post BDSM art or stories.

Yeah. it's kinda pointless to link people to the site that they're on

I'm pretty sure he means inserting your website adress onto your signature on yiffstar and other sites.

Here are my thoughts:

Your website ust have a main attracting force. Like some websites have oekaki. Yiffstar has a pretty good story list, fa is a good art site. Your site needs that extra litte touch. I recommed some bouts with flash.

If you can get linked as a friend site from other sites that would be good. Like get yiffstar to put you in their links.

There are online website directries. I dont know them by name but they list furry related websites. Get yourself put on them.

You also need to randomly tell everyone you meet about it. Its the least elegant solution but it does work.

The other thing to watch out for is the "loyalty" factor of visitors. Sure it looks nice to skim around but if nothing substantial arises then they wont stay long. You need to have a bondage 101 section or something.

There ARE x-Rated folders Fuzzy =P

Rule number 2

-Post content must match the age limit for the board. To gain access to the R forums you must PM an admin (Either Rakuen or Anoyomouse) and declare that you are over 18 years of age. This isn't to make life hard, it's because of the hosting and legal issues.

Tsubaki's right, the instructions are also on the main page in the announcements info section. I'd also recommend pming me as I'm on nearly every day and I'm not sure how often Anoyo comes on, he's more a support (but very necessary support) admin.
